Dr Kumararatne is a wonderful consultant and person I am under a few consultants for different medical conditions, but can truly say, Dr Kumararatne is the best by far He looks after my physical health, but also my mental health by taking time to explain my condition, how we'll manage it and never fails to reassure me when I'm worried and to explain fully when I don’t understand. He is an extremely kind, caring and patient person and consultant, goes way over and above what I would expect and I really cannot express how grateful I am to him for all he has done for me and I cannot recommend him highly enough

Dr D S Kumararatne is a deeply compassionate doctor, who took much time to listen to my complicated medical issues. He is an incredibly skilled clinician, who clearly sees his patients, as a ‘whole’ person. We feel very much cared for by him, because he works with the ‘whole person’ perspective, which is incredibly helpful when we have crossover/ autoimmune diseases. Dr Kumararatne kindly contacted various consultants, in order to manage the complicated nature of my diseases, which contributed to my stay in intensive care. I feel well cared for and valued by Dr Kumararatne. He was very pleasant and well mannered on the telephone appointment. And on the video link, he was very personable and communicated in a very patient way. He explained many medical terms in user-friendly language. This put me at my ease. He has treated me with dignity and respect, and this makes an enormous difference, because we can feel quite vulnerable as patients. My family and I feel that Dr Kumararatne has gone out of his way to look after me. And we are deeply grateful, as a family. I have experienced a good follow-up care from this doctor, and his commitment to his patients is incredibly professional and hard-warming. We thank Dr Kumararatne, with sincere gratitude. Dr Kumararatne is an outstanding clinician.
